Harry Potter Blogs

Wizard News is a blog where people can post their "two sickles" about Harry Potter and his world. People can post about anything they want as long as it relates to Harry Potter.

Horcrux City is another blog focused on Harry Potter but this one is specifically about the seventh book 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.' In this blog people speculate about the seventh book and the future of Harry Potter.

News Article

The article I found on the MSNBC Web site is about the 2009 opening of the Harry Potter theme park at the Islands of Adventure park in Orlando, Florida. The article talks about the three main elements of the park, the Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade Village and the Hogwarts Castle and how they will be extremely authentic to the books and the movies. Harry Potter fans will not be disappointed!

Web sites

Mugglenet is a Harry Potter Web site that allows Harry Potter fans to keep up to date on the movies, books and discussions of Harry Potter. The site has many different discussion boards and different sections for games, web media and information about J.K. Rowling.

The Warner Bros. Studio site is another elaborate Harry Potter Web site. This Web site is more focused on the movies than the other sites. There are sections for discussion boards, games, television and even a kids only section. Fans can actively participate in the Harry Potter community on this site.

The Leaky Cauldron Web site is almost like a Harry Potter search engine. Through its various links and search box fans can find everything they need concerning Harry Potter from costumes to ringtones and even other "fansites." Though primarily centered around Harry Potter, The Leaky Cauldron also has resources to help visitors find unrelated sites as well.

Discussion Boards

The first discussion board I looked at was from a Harry Potter web site that had message boards for each of the Hogwart's Houses. On these boards people talk about all things Harry Potter from the movies to the books and even the new theme park.

The second discussion board I found did not have a lot of messages posted on it but it is directly related to the opening of the Harry Potter theme park. I found the board through Yahoo message boards which allow people to post about anything and everything.

Public Relations Writing Class

This blog is not a real blog, it is actually an assignment for a public relations writing class. The posts are in no way connected to the actual Harry Potter Theme Park. All blogs are entirely made up by me.
